PROJECT 01 / DECORATIVE PAINTING + FURNITURE TRANSFORMATION
The Bee Garden Cupboard
A family cupboard transformed through hand-painted details inspired by a bee garden, its fruit trees, flowers, and resident wildlife.
The cupboard was transformed for a family home, drawing inspiration from a place closely connected to its owners: their bee garden.
The painted imagery brings together flowers from the family garden, apple and pear trees growing near the beehives, and two hares that inhabit the surrounding land. These familiar elements became the starting point for a decorative composition that gives the existing piece a new, personal character.
